Our Soursop Tea is green tea without the bitter aftertaste. Soursop is a type of custard apple that originated in the Americas and is now common right through Asia and the sub-continent. They use Soursop leaves as a folk remedy for blood pressure, fever, diabetes, indigestion. Whilst all those green tea antioxidants may be doing good, the calming effects of the additional soursop flavor can also make for a calming sleep aid.

Brew the perfect cup:

  1. Boil one cup of water at 80°C.
  2. Use one teabag per cup of hot water.
  3. Stir the tea once, and then let it steep for 3 to 4 minutes. 
  4. Stir again halfway through.
  5. Remove the tea bags.
  6. Your tea is now ready to drink! 

Brewing it correctly means that it will have a bitter taste or sour flavor that is off-putting, but if you’d like a sweeter taste, add a teaspoon of honey and stir well before drinking
